Trip Route
Sach Pass trip is approx. 750km from Delhi. (Total = 1500 km)
Route follows – via Pathankot, Ranikhet, Chamera, Tisa, Taragarh & Sach Pass.
There are 2 routes at Sach Pass one goes to Kashmir via Killar & Other one goes to Leh via Manali.
Sach Pass height is approx. 14500 ft. the weather and climate are extremely cold, for that, you must carry the gloves and windcheaters jacket.
Requirements/Formalities
No need of any permission required, you just need to carry your valid RC, PUC, & License.
No other formalities just need to register at Bairagarh or Satrundi.
Bike & Road Conditions
You can travel Delhi to Bairagarh in one day and the next day to Sach Pass, Killar and on a 3rd day return to Delhi.
In the overall trip, the 600 km road is quite good to ride a bike, 100 km is ok but the remaining 50 km is more difficult and adventures.
The road condition is so worst (big rocks, ices etc.) that you must check and do necessary maintenance of your bike before starting of the tour.
You can rent a bike also such as Royal Enfield, Himalayan, KTM, Pulsar etc.
Precautions
The route from Bairagarh to Sach has lots of sewerage and the water from that flows on the road which is approx. up to 1 ft. to be on the safe side while riding you must have the waterproof shoes.
You can fill the petrol at Ranikhet, Khushnagari at Tisa (routes last petrol pump) so make sure full your tank and no need to carry an extra can petrol with which can lead bike heavier.
Accommodations
From Ranikhet to Tisa route there are no single hotels for accommodations. If you want to halt or stay then the Tisa or Bairagarh is choice. in that Bairagarh is more affordable than the Tisa.
Costing/Price
Costing will be approx. 5000 rs including petrol. ( for a single person & own bike)
Best Time To Visit
The best time to visit is mid-June to mid-July. After that the heavy rain starts, road conditions become worst and pass closes.
